Dr. Fish first started out as a 1,200 sq ft. retail store in the heart of Koreatown Dallas, TX. At our retail store, we offered Fresh Fish Loins and Fillets and Sashimi Plates to our customers. The quality was so great, even Japanese Restaurant Owners came by frequently to purchase Sashimi from us. As rumors spread, many Japanese Restaurant Owners were so satisified by our quality, price and service, they asked us if we could become a wholesale company to supply their restaurant.

Dr. Fish moves to 6,000 sq ft. Warehouse
It was hard to adapt to the wholesale business from retail at first because of the profit difference. Fishes like Salmon and Tuna were coming from another Seafood Wholesale Company. The Fish arrival was very inconsistent because we had to adapt to another company's schedule and their customers.
Today, we receive all of our fish directly from oceans, fish farms, vessels, fisherman, and corporate companies that specialize on the fish we provide our customers. After this project, the businses boomed for Dr. Fish.

Dr. Fish 20,000 sq ft. Warehouse Construction Complete Date
Dr. Fish is moving next door to a 20,000 sq ft. warehouse by July 18th, 2008. We are going to keep our 6,000 sq ft. warehouse as well. Our goal is to break the wall down so our warehouse could be 26,000 sq ft by end of 2008. The new warehouse will give us a huge freezer, in the dimensions of 42x50x15"; providing our customers more options of Frozen Seafood. Also, a Fresh Cooler Room in the dimensions of 12x26x15" is a Fresh Fish Showroom where our customers will get to watch our employees cutting, filleting, packaging Fresh Fish. We will also keep our current big cooler, and two freezers. This room allows us complete the biggest seafood wholesale, distribution and manufacturing project down here in Texas.
